Wk - 1 MOCA Artist work review

Sistine Chapel Ceiling Painting

A replication of Michelangelo famous creation done with 3d editing software. Adobe's line of products can be used as well as final cut, or maya.

I'm not very familiar with 3d software but i have taken a Flash course in the past, so my guess is that the original drawing was pasted into the program and then reconfigured to look like this.

  1. Nice find Tony... who is the artist? What are your personal reactions to the piece? Does the artist have a website that you can link us to?

  2. The transformation into a modern look caught my attention, even though the whole painting would have a been nice to see replicated.

  3. When I saw this I thought of the movie E.T. Thank you for sharing basics on how it was created.
